On Wednesday November 30th 2022 we hosted this webinar featuring Maya Karrow, an attorney working with Safe Passage for Children this year as an Archbishop Ireland Justice Fellow from the University of St. Thomas School of Law. She reported on our updates on the most recent findings from her project to collect and analyze data on 87 child fatalities in Minnesota from the end of 2014 to the present. Maya graduated from law school in 2021 and was recently admitted to the bar. Her previous experience includes working with justice involved Indigenous women who are victims of domestic violence, as well as clerking for the Ramsey County Public Defender’s Office.
