Watch Webinar: attorney Maya Schulte presents a Minnesota Child Fatalities Research Report: preliminary findings

Maya Schulte is an attorney working with Safe Passage this year as an Ireland Fellow from the St. Thomas School of Law.  She reported on preliminary findings from her project to collect and analyze data on 87 child fatalities in Minnesota from the end of 2014 to the present. Maya graduated from law school in 2021 and was recently admitted to the bar.  Her previous experience includes working with justice involved Indigenous women who are victims of domestic violence, as well as clerking for the Ramsey County Public Defender’s Office. This webinar was free and everyone was invited to participate.
