While volunteer Guardian ad Litems bring a community consciousness into what used to be a closed and secretive system, their role is at a critical juncture. Gerard Bodell wants to sustain the inclusion of volunteer GALs in the state of Minnesota and is working hard to accomplish this.

CASA Minnesota’s mission is to serve children and youth in the child protection system by enriching their lives through advocacy, access to resources, and fostering meaningful connections.  CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children. Gerard will expand upon the current mission, volunteer Guardian ad Litem role, and how your involvement or awareness can help too.

Gerard is an experienced business leader recognized for developing customer focused marketing strategies and connecting operating plans to ensure successful execution. He has a broad and diverse set of business experiences including a senior controllership in a start-up business, leading large operations, and transformational change leadership. His corporate experiences include Target, Ernst & Young and Novus Media.
