Juneteenth celebrates the end of slavery on June 19th, 1865, and today we celebrate that our children we advocate for can walk in that freedom. The staff and board of Safe Passage for Children join our community in celebrating the end of slavery. We pledge to work with others towards eliminating the scourge of racial injustice that continues to afflict us all, and to help create a future where our children that we advocate for can walk in freedom.
