This Valentine’s season, we’re reminded that every child deserves to feel safe, cared for, and loved. But for too many Minnesota children in the child protection system, love can feel very far away.
That’s why we’re inviting you to extend your heart — and your impact — with a special Valentine’s Match. Every gift made by February 14 will be doubled — up to $5,000 — thanks to a generous match opportunity from a committed Safe Passage donor.
Why $5,000? According to the most recent data available from Minnesota’s 2023 Child Maltreatment Report, there were nearly 5,000 children who were determined to be victims of maltreatment, most at the hands of their parents or caregivers. We are being challenged to raise funds to be their advocate and voice this year at the Capitol. Please help us raise $5,000 ahead of the next legislative session. In simple terms, we’re asking to raise a dollar for each child victim.
