Thanks to our supporters we raised nearly 30% more than last year at our annual fundraiser this week!
At the event we also launched our three-year development drive, Safe Passage | Safe Children 2021.
Saint Paul Mayor Melvin Carter tied together ways that cities can support families with the importance of promoting early childhood development.
Attorney Jeff Anderson appeared by video to describe the connections between the mission of Safe Passage and that of his recently launched Zero Abuse Project.
But the highlight of the morning was remarks by Jametra Jordon-Grant and Alisha Jacubik, who shared powerful personal stories of childhood abuse, and that they advocate with Safe Passage so other children don’t have to repeat their experiences.
We are grateful to everyone who made this such a meaningful event.
