Safe Passage is pleased to announce and welcome Crystal McNally as the new Executive Director of Safe Passage for Children in Minnesota.
Crystal brings a deeply personal commitment to child safety. In 2017, her son Nolan was shaken and abused by his in-home daycare provider—an experience that has profoundly shaped her passion and advocacy for protecting children.
Crystal and her husband, Brendan, are also the founders of Never Shake Minnesota, a nonprofit organization that provides financial support to victims of Abusive Head Trauma. Through this work, Crystal has been a strong advocate for legislation that protects children, contributed to educational campaigns on Abusive Head Trauma, and built connections with professionals working on the front lines of child abuse prevention.
Crystal’s professional background includes extensive experience in communications. Prior to joining Safe Passage, she worked as an educator in the recycling industry, served as a communications specialist in the Shakopee School District, and began her career as a television news anchor.
